Great news! I finally came out to the rest of my family, that is, my grandmother, brother and uncle (on mother's side). My mother constantly was fearful about me telling my grandmother, but this week I decided to be a real man (well gay man
) and tell her anyway. I met with my pastor on Thursday and he told me a wonderful story about how his rural Alabama family had came to accept his sexuality. I then called my grandmother and told her and she said she pretty much already knew. LOL, she said she knew when I came to Virginia and Xavier moved from the other room to sleep next to me there. She is now reading some books and learning about being gay and Christian.
