I had to rush and get this out of my system. I just finished watching The Book of Eli for the first time, and I've gotta say that this is one of my favorite movies of all time. Denzel Washington is, as usual, excellent; but even beyond that, the story is just great!
Of course, I'm just a crier these days, but I've gotta say that I cried at the end. It just moved me so. I love the Lord with all my heart, and how the movie ended just really moved me.
It also did a very good job of showing the good, redeeming virtue of faith, and also the corrupt, manipulative abuse of religion. I mean, it was just a doggone good movie!
I just had to run and say it. 10 out of 10 stars, with a very interesting character twist that you probably won't pick up on until the end.
A Must See Movie
Have you seen it? If so, what did you think about it?

It's about a post-apocalyptic world in which few humans have survived a largely undescript war, probably nuclear. Denzel's character is tasked with a mission, and he's very committed to carrying it out. It's a very spiritual movie, and a God-glorifying one. Very touching at the end. You'll like it.
