No, unfortunately I did not get the job, nor do I have any (known) prospects. I even went on another interview on the 21st and (surprise, surprise) the attending manager had no idea I was scheduled to come that day. I am pressed on every side, though not defeated. I am thankful that God has provided for me as always, and I want to testify to the mysterious workings of the Lord that I have learned.
Without going into detail, I will say this: sometimes God will cause the very thing that occupies your mind to blind you, making you unable to see the other areas He has already worked out for you. I now know that, although I desire a job, I should never have allowed that desire to take away my worship for things He has already accomplished in my life.
I am humbled and I am exceedingly grateful. Thank you, Lord, thank you Pastor, and thank you fellow soldiers in Christ. It is well.
Oh, by the way ... I keep missing the weekly Tuesday night meeting! I'm so upset, so pray for my mind, okay?!! Love you guys!
